ECU consider their awards purely for Matured Licensed Working Individuals,. therefore the Executive Board of Governors & Trustees wish to encourage all their candidates to develop a Professional Competency of Reading and Writing Skill which will significantly boost their knowledge. The reading and writing can be related to their Working or Business Profession. ECU wishes everyone to keep this as their normal activity, as the Qualifications are Knowledge Oriented and will be very effective for their Professional image and status respectively. We recognize many cultural experiences at the University – many of which do not involve traditional book-based learning.

  • Let us not say, every man is the architect of his own fortune; but let us say, every man is the architect of his own character.

  • The man of wisdom is never of two minds; the man of benevolence never worries; the man of courage is never afraid.

  • Most significant of all: Reading and Writing when you feel up to it, when your desk is tidy, when you won’t be interrupted- but READ.
