ECU’s incorporation being confirmed thatit is a Work Based Knowledge University, thereforetheir mission is to offer an individualized, mentored professional knowledge qualification at a fraction of the cost of many other state or private universities. The standard duration may be reduced considerably if the candidate is considered under the scheme of Accreditation for Career Progress Development (ACPD) or Affirmation for Prior Experience & Learning (APEL). Equally, if the candidate wishes to pursue their qualification, the amount of time and effort will be a major factor in determining how long the individual is prepared to put into accumulate the necessary credits for the appropriate award. These factors will often mean that you can complete your professional knowledge entrepreneurial degree in significantly less time than in a traditional academic learning route. This does not mean that the level of award quality standard is less than any other degrees, due to the fact of the number of years work experience is accounted for the said qualification.

ECU is proud to say to their prospective candidates that, being a Work Based Knowledge University, no time bar is attached for enrolment. Anyone can enrol any time of the year either directly with International Coordinating Management Centre or Local Representative Offices in respective countries.

The European Continental University (ECU) vision was evolved from the UK Incorporated Non Chartered Professional Body the Corporation of Executives and Administrators (CEA),whose constitution permits the ability to create as many faculties it may deem necessary since the year of 1981 in Great Britain. Taking this into consideration, theExecutive Governor General Prof. Ralph Thomas came up with the remarkable solution of constituting a Work Based Knowledge Universityby implementing his Doctorate Thesis theory and came about incorporating in 2005 lawfully in State of Delaware , USA. This was made possible by submitting the appropriate application pertaining to the Incorporation Constitution on February 14, 2005 by Mr. John L Williams, the Incorporator and nominated 1201 Orange Street, Suite 600, Wilmington, Delaware 19801 as its registered office and approval of State Secretary of Government of Delaware was given on the 31st of May 2005 with the official registration number of 02254641 along with the Authentication number 3914155 as a Virtual Distance Learning Knowledge University. ECU DEGREES HAVE TO BE EARNED AND ARE NOT PURELY AWARDED FOR EXPERIENCE. Add to this to offer that with an additional Professional Eminent Certified Membership conferred by CEA’s sister awarding Body Consortium of Entrepreneurial Administrators for Professional Development (CEA)this willfurther enhance by affirming their invaluable work experience and considering in making it as a dual Professional Qualification. Most importantly the ECU Board of Governors and Trustees always look for accreditation and endorsement from every working individual, entrepreneur, business organisation, private and government employer and professional awarding bodies. To this effect, ECU candidates are assessed, examined and verified to an ISO 9000:2008 by UK-Commission for Consistent Learning (UK-CCL). ECU’s Knowledge route is much more flexible than that of any traditional class roominstitution. Because it gives the flexibility of being self-planned and self-paced. Therefore, in terms of personal attention to detail and attentiveness of the particular needs of the candidates, it far exceeds what is accessible somewhere else. ECU believes that with this significant historical model in support, this flexibility is achieved without compromising professional academic standards. This has made available from traditional endorsement for recognition. Therefore, every prospective candidate must understand and be clear about this before seeking the ECU’s Qualifications.
